The 2025 Guitar Festival sponsored by the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Reichenberger Fine Arts Department is Friday, April 4, in Ryerson Hall on the Alva campus.

Students will perform individually or as members of ensembles between 9 a.m. and noon in Room 200 on the second floor of Ryerson Hall. These performances are open to the public.

“The festival provides an opportunity for learning guitarists to perform for others in a low-stress, supportive environment,” Max Ridgway, adjunct instructor of music, said. “The festival was conceived, not as a competition, but as an opportunity for guitarists to perform, receive constructive encouragement and hear other guitarists play.”

For more information, contact Ridgway by email at maridgway@nwosu.edu or by phone at (590) 732-0390.
