Fall interest meetings set for Study Abroad trip to Iceland in 2020
September 17, 2019
Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Study Abroad Committee has its sights set on taking a tour group to Iceland in May 2020. Study abroad trips are not only for Northwestern students and employees but are open to the general public as well.
Spend seven days abroad, earn college credit, and experience something new. The travelers can take advantage of round-the-clock daylight during the summer in this otherworldly place of dramatic beauty. The group can revel in the geothermal wonders of Iceland—Blue Lagoon hot springs, volcanic craters and subarctic fauna.
From the capital Reykjavik, the group will travel the popular Golden Circle and see Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysir geothermal area. From there, they will continue on to the famous black-sand beaches of Vik and the Lava Centre in Hvolsvöllur.
