September 23, 2024

Northwestern Oklahoma State University officials announce an increase in enrollment for the fall 2024 semester. Currently, there are 2,081 students enrolled as Rangers, which is nearly an 8 percent increase. Credit hours have increased more than 4 percent.

Almost every category of enrollment has seen an increase.

  • First-time freshman at Northwestern increased by over 2 percent.
  • The Northwestern-Enid campus increased enrollment by 7 percent.
  • The Northwestern-Woodward campus saw a 42 percent increase in first-time freshmen.
  • Total undergraduate enrollment increased by over 2 percent.
  • Graduate enrollment increased by nearly 48 percent.
  • Concurrent enrollment increased by 15 percent in head count and 22 percent in credit hours.

“The increased enrollment is always a positive sign for Northwestern,” Dr. Bo Hannaford, university president, said. “Having this increase shows a great dedication of not only our faculty and staff, but especially the recruitment team. We are proud of the efforts campus-wide and are happy to see these new Rangers on campus.”

Tuition did not increase for the fourth year in a row and about 50 percent of undergraduates are debt-free.
