Northwestern Oklahoma State University E-Proficiency Profile Testing Period Open

March 11, 2025

E-Proficiency Profile promotional flyer announcing testing for NWOSU students with 61-90 credit hours from March 3-28, 2025. The flyer details testing locations: Alva students go to the Academic Success Center, Enid and Woodward students go to the front desk, and online students should contact Kaylyn Hansen at klhansen@nwosu.edu. The flyer emphasizes that the test helps NWOSU assess general education courses and advertises that participants have a chance to win one of six $100 Amazon gift cards.

Northwestern Oklahoma State University will conduct E-Proficiency Profile testing until March 28 for students who have completed between 61 and 90 credit hours. Participating students will be entered into a drawing to win one of six $100 Amazon gift cards.

The E-Proficiency Profile is a short online test that takes less than 40 minutes to complete. It measures critical thinking, mathematics, and basic reading and writing skills. Students' scores do not impact their GPA, and no preparation is necessary. This assessment will help the university evaluate the effectiveness of its general education curriculum.

Students may participate on a walk-in basis at the Academic Success Center on the Alva campus, or at the front desk of the Enid and Woodward campuses, or schedule an appointment. Online students can contact Kaylyn Hansen, Northwestern director of assessment.

For more information or to schedule an appointment, please contact Hansen at klhansen@nwosu.edu or (580) 327-8150.
