Northwestern will play host to OBI blood drive; Donation goal of 81 blood units
February 11, 2025
Northwestern Oklahoma State University will partner with the Ranger Business Club, Pre-Nursing Association and soccer team to sponsor a blood drive with Our Blood Institute from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 19-20, in the Student Center Ranger Room on the Alva campus.
This event is open to the public, Northwestern employees and students. Donors will receive a free, multiverse superhero-inspired T-shirt and an exclusive superhero collector card. There will also be a chance to win a $25 Northwestern Bookstore gift card.
“Like every hero has a unique power, your blood type holds a special gift that can save lives. It's simple: Give blood, save lives, and unleash your inner hero,” according to ourbloodinstitute.org
The blood donation goal is 81 units for the drive, and participants will need a photo ID to donate blood. Walk-ins are welcome.
